Job summary

KGAN is seeking a Multi-Media Journalist to report, shoot and edit news stories, develop enterprising ideas, and cultivate contacts. You will create daily content across TV, web, social media and mobile platforms, with a focus on engaging audiences on multiple channels.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of reporting experience, experience with live shots, and a willingness to use Live-U when needed. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year reporting experience is required.
• Experience with live shots is required.
• Experience with Live-U is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot and edit news stories for multiple platforms including TV, internet and mobile.
• Develop enterprising story ideas and cultivate sources.
• Produce daily content across television, web and social channels.
• Work as MMJ to cover breaking news and feature segments as assigned.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet, social networking sites and mobile phones, in addition to television.

• The ability to work well independently
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
