Sinclair Inc. in Bristol, TN, owner of WCYB-TV News 5, is seeking a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) who can report, shoot, write and edit compelling stories for TV, digital and social platforms.
The ideal candidate will develop enterprise stories, deliver strong live reports from the field, and work across our Tri-Cities coverage with a commitment to high journalistic standards.
WCYB-TV News 5, the NBC and FOX affiliate serving the Tri-Cities, is looking for a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) who is passionate about telling meaningful stories, connecting with the community, and producing compelling content across platforms.
The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who can report, shoot, write, and edit engaging stories for television, digital, social media, and streaming platforms. We’re looking for someone who is curious, motivated, and eager to develop sources and uncover stories that matter to viewers across the Tri-Cities region.
The base hourly compensation range for this role is $16.50 to $18.10. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
