Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field.
• Strong editorial judgment and knowledge of journalism ethics and libel laws.
• Solid writing skills in AP style for broadcast and online content.
• Ability to work under pressure individually and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise stories for newscasts, website, and social platforms.
• Shoot and edit video with TV news cameras and production software.
• Create content for social media and engage with followers.
• Produce written articles for the website.
• Maintain community contacts and relationships.
• Complete tasks as directed by the News Director.
