Qualifications

• Excellent reporting and writing skills, and the ability to write and edit quickly.
• Use research to tailor stories to fit the audience and platform.
• Tell stories in relatable and compelling ways, including digital formats and summaries, photo and video, and longform writing.
• Demonstrated social media presence that engages readers, sharing stories and tips.
• Familiar with standards to avoid libel and slander, and with Ohio public records laws.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and commit to ongoing learning.
