Job summary

Northeast Community College is seeking a full-time Digital Content Coordinator to support the Strategic Communications department on campus.

You will gather information, create engaging content across website, print, news releases, social media, and email marketing, and maintain brand consistency.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree or higher in communications or media arts and at least two years of marketing or public relations experience, with CMS and social media content experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in the field of communication or media arts.
• 2+ years of marketing, public/media relations or communications experience preferred, plus CMS experience and social media content creation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Strategic Communications department by gathering information and creating content that advances the college’s mission and brand.
• Tell the Northeast story through written, visual and multimedia content across students, faculty, staff, alumni, programs and community impact.
• Create content for the College website, print publications, news releases, media kits, social channels, email marketing and employee communications.
• Strengthen brand-aligned messaging across internal and external communications.
• Help maintain editorial standards and visual identity across College communications.
• Contribute story ideas and content for College departments, initiatives and events.
• Adapt content for different audiences and channels to support recruitment, employee communications and community engagement.
• Collaborate with campus partners to ensure accuracy and alignment with priorities.
