The Multimedia Design Coordinator supports University Advancement's marketing and donor relations efforts by creating engaging visual content across print and digital platforms. Working closely with the Multimedia Designer and Marketing and Donor Relations team, this role helps develop marketing materials that bring University Advancement's stories and initiatives to life. The position offers the opportunity to contribute throughout the creative process-from concept development and design through production and quality review-while collaborating with colleagues and cross-functional partners. It is an ideal opportunity for an emerging designer looking to strengthen their skills in a collaborative environment. Supports multimedia project coordination, working closely with other designers and departments to ensure project requirements are met Drafts initial designs for multimedia content, including digital graphics, videos, and interactive media, aligning with the university's visual identity Utilizes and stays current with the latest design technologies and software to produce high-quality, innovative content Helps maintain a consistent visual identity across all media outputs, aligning with the university's design standards Assists in managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule and within specified financial parameters Works alongside other design and marketing professionals to brainstorm, critique, and refine multimedia content that meets strategic objectives Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of graphic design principles, tools, and applications Knowledge of website design and development Ability to design, prepare, and edit creative content directed at specific audiences using design requirements, parameters, timeline, and budget Skill in multi-tasking, project management, prioritization, and organization Skill in oral and written communication, with the Ability to present design ideas and concepts clearly to business partners, technical staff, and end users, ensuring a shared understanding across diverse stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in related field No experience required Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
Operations, Administrative, Service, or Technical Support Level 2 - An intermediate level role with working foundational knowledge and skills to perform routine and occasionally non-routine tasks. Tasks may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. May provide assistance to entry level staff.
