Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Media production or related field and four years paid full-time experience in web design, government access television, broadcasting, media coverage, communications, facilitating neighborhood associations and community outreach programs; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Content and media creation to support city departments and initiatives (websites, social media, email campaigns).
• Manage the city’s government cable access channel and digital platforms; edit video, update websites, create social content, and maintain assets.
• Assist with design assets for city marketing and events through civic engagement and information distribution.
• Maintain studio, photo, video, audio visual, and broadcast equipment; manage licenses, repairs, and replacements.
• Prepare proposals, review qualifications, bid on cable/tech equipment and agenda management programs.
• Perform administrative tasks, support department goals, assist with budget preparation and purchases.
• Produce city videos including storyboard, planning, scripting, filming, editing and posting.
