The Content Team delivers high-quality, trustworthy content and tools to help consumers confidently navigate financial decisions throughout their lives. We’re looking for a Multimedia Content Strategist to join our growing team and support video content across YouTube and social media channels. In this role, you’ll ensure content meets NerdWallet’s editorial standards and supports our audience growth and business goals.
You’ll work closely with content creators and cross-functional partners to pitch, script, edit, and review video content from concept to delivery—ensuring it’s engaging, accurate, and impactful. You’ll also contribute to strategy, manage production timelines, and help guide creators through editorial and technical processes.
In order to be successful in this position, it’s important to bring strong project management skills, sound editorial judgment, and a collaborative mindset. Confidence in guiding creators through the production process—including offering constructive feedback and coaching—is key. A solid understanding of video workflows, paired with a sharp eye on YouTube, social media, and digital trends, will help keep content fresh and relevant. Attention to detail, especially in copy editing and fact-checking, along with comfort using content management systems like WordPress, will support high-quality, efficient content delivery.
This role will report to the Head of Content, Multimedia.
