Lakeland PBS in Bemidji, MN is seeking a dynamic Multimedia Content Producer/Director to create engaging TV and digital content focused on Minnesota arts, culture and history. You will manage concepts through to delivery, coordinate shoots, edit with professional tools, and ensure PBS standards across platforms.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, community engagement, and producing short-form online videos while maintaining high production quality for broadcast and web audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in film/television production or related field.
• 2+ years in television or multimedia production.
• Ability to produce high-quality video content from concept to completion.
• Strong storytelling and writing skills.
• Experience with camera operation, sound, and lighting.
• Proficient in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop story ideas for TV and digital platforms.
• Schedule and conduct interviews for programs.
• Plan and shoot on-location and in-studio productions.
• Operate and maintain video, audio, and lighting equipment.
• Edit video and audio content; manage digital media assets.
• Produce short-form videos for online platforms.
• Upload broadcast content to website, PBS app, and YouTube.
• Engage with community members and stakeholders at events.
