Job summary

Okaloosa County Inc. seeks a dynamic Digital Content Specialist to develop and publish engaging content across websites, social media, newsletters, and apps. You will capture and edit photos, videos, and drone footage to showcase Destin-Fort Walton Beach and related sub-brands.

The role requires coordinating with the marketing team, monitoring trends, and engaging audiences while maintaining records and reporting ROI of programs. Strong writing and social media skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in marketing, communications, public relations or closely related field with two years of relevant experience creating strong, engaging output.
• Experience developing social media marketing strategies, applying best practices, planning and executing campaigns.
• Experience posting content to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other platforms.
• Experience in tourism industry and/or destination marketing preferred.
• Copywriting experience is preferred.
• Experience using Canva, Adobe Suite, WordPress, and Constant Contact is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, curates, and publishes content across websites, social media channels, newsletters, and apps to engage visitors and stakeholders.
• Utilizes photography, videography, and drone equipment to produce compelling digital content.
• Conceptualizes, develops, edits, and publishes content for website, blogs, social media, newsletters, and marketing emails.
