Job summary

Leidos is seeking experienced Hausa & Spanish/Chinese Triage Examiners to perform media exploitation and triage in support of a customer in the National Capital Region. Examiners will conduct eDiscovery and DOMEX examinations, leveraging language skills and advanced computer systems to identify important information and prepare reports for dissemination to customers.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in English.
• Two years of linguist operations in Hausa, Spanish or Hausa, Chinese languages, and two years of DOMEX media examination experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph ability.
• BA degree and/or 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 2 years.
• Ability to produce concise, accurate reports and summaries for decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Perform data discovery on large datasets of foreign language material and identify essential elements of information.
• Convert, reformat, parse, and exploit media files to ensure readability for translation systems.
• Prepare files and metadata for transfer to translation systems, including review of foreign-language data.
• Produce a report of findings and disseminate to customers, analysts, and liaison officers.
• Prepare accurate written gists, translations, and/or transcriptions of general and technical material.
• Operate with minimal supervision to maintain project momentum over long periods.
