Job summary

Welocalize is seeking linguists to join our Non-Linguistic Quality Coordination team. This role focuses on QC of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content, using CAT tools and QA checks.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in Language QA, advanced English (C1), familiarity with XTM/Trados/MemoQ/Phrase, and availability for 4–5 hours per day, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months as a Language QA specialist in localization.
• Availability of 4–5 hours per day; willing to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Able to meet urgent TATs (12–24 hours) and manage many small files.
• Willing to complete the QC test and follow staged onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.
• Use CAT tools (XTM preferred) and run QA checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Validate formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and adherence to instructions.
• Support processing of non-editable/handwritten sources and perform formatting QC after conversion.
• Self-assign work via Open Offers and meet urgent TATs (typically 12–24 hours).
• Handle high volume split across multiple small files; document and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with translators, editors, and PMs; escalate issues as needed.
