Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking an LPAC Coordinator to oversee language proficiency processes and ensure compliant documentation for Emergent Bilingual students. This role partners with campuses and the compliance team to support accurate records and high-quality decision-making.

The role requires collaboration, strong communication, and adherence to state and federal bilingual education laws, with a focus on equity and accountability across the network.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR complete at least two years of study with LPAC experience.
  • Experience with PEIMS, TSDS, TREX, Ellevation, and Skyward preferred.
  • Bilingual and biliterate candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies accuracy of data and all required documentation prior to LPAC meetings.
  • Maintains physical and digital confidential LPAC records pertinent to Emergent Bilinguals in Ellevation.
  • Requests and maintains documents, files, and records to provide an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.
  • Follows TEA LPAC Framework for identification, placement, and review of Emergent Bilingual students.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Multilingual Compliance and school staff to resolve TEA audits or TREx requests.
  • Supports campuses daily with related compliance tasks, including language proficiency testing, LPAC documentation, and facilitating LPAC meetings.
