Job summary

Centific is seeking a Localization QA Tester to evaluate translated content for linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistent user experience across languages and platforms. You will execute QA test cycles, review copy, and report defects to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Native-level proficiency in the target language.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Knowledge of QA methodologies, bug tracking, and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify nuanced linguistic or UI issues.
Ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally.
Familiarity with CAT tools/localization platforms.

Responsibilities

Execute full localization QA test cycles across different platforms and environments.
Review, verify, edit, and translate copy across media types.
Validate localized content for tone, grammar, context, and cultural relevance.
Evaluate UI behavior for truncation, clipping, alignment, wrapping, and encoding issues.
Report and track bugs; retest to confirm fixes.
Collaborate with localization PMs, translators, developers, and QA teams.
