Qualifications

Responsibilities

Supports and upholds the district's mission, vision and goals toward improved student outcomes.
Interacts and collaborates effectively with stakeholders.
Establishes a safe, supportive learning environment and maintains confidentiality.
Facilitates language instruction and integrates technology to support English language development.
Develops Individualized Language Acquisition Plans based on English proficiency levels.
Teaches language concepts, strategies, and skills to advance English language proficiency.
Communicates with classroom teachers to coordinate accommodations and document collaboration.
Prepares lesson plans, assessments, and daily/weekly activity plans.
Assists in planning for state English language proficiency assessments and administers them.
