A multilingual/ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) paraeducator works under the guidance of a licensed teacher to support the acquisition of English skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). This specialized paraeducator assists teachers in the classroom with instructional activities, providing individual or small-group English language support, and helps non-native English-speaking students with their academic and social-emotional needs. Key duties include reinforcing lessons, assisting with materials and assignments, and monitoring student progress.
