Job summary

Lightcast is seeking a Data Analyst (Greek) to support multilingual data initiatives by analyzing and improving data quality across global markets. You will collaborate with Linguistics and Engineering teams to develop parsers and translate taxonomies, ensuring high-quality data for customers worldwide.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, or NLP, proficiency in Greek, and experience with Excel, SQL, and RegEx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and writing Greek required.
• Multilingual candidates strongly preferred, particularly additional languages.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUPs, data cleanup, and functions.
• Knowledge of query languages such as SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of RegEx for rule writing.
• Knowledge of text analysis or machine learning principles.
• Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented work with accuracy and follow complex instructions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve the data quality of multilingual text classifiers.
• Partner with Linguistics and Engineering teams to develop parsers across multiple languages.
• Translate taxonomies, including Skills, Titles, and Occupations.
• Analyze and clean data using Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Apply language, data, and text analysis expertise to support high-quality global data.
