Job summary

Lightcast is seeking a Data Analyst specializing in Bulgarian to support multilingual data quality and global initiatives. This independent contractor role collaborates with Linguistics and Engineering teams to develop parsers, evaluate text classifiers, and translate taxonomies.

You will analyze multilingual data, perform data cleaning with Excel, leverage RegEx and SQL, and deliver high-quality datasets for customers across markets.

Qualifications

• Bulgarian reading and writing proficiency required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Multilingual candidates strongly preferred (Slovenian noted).
• Experience with Excel, SQL, and RegEx for data work.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve multilingual data quality of text classifiers.
• Partner with Linguistics and Engineering teams to develop parsers.
• Translate taxonomies including Skills, Titles, and Occupations.
• Analyze and clean data using Excel and other tools.
• Apply language and data analysis expertise to support global data quality.
