Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space at Naval Base Kitsap, Silverdale, WA, seeks a Production Manager for Missile Body Operations (MBO) to lead production, manage multiple manufacturing functions, and drive safe, on-time results. You will recruit, train, and assess staff while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to budgets.

This role requires directing both salaried and hourly workforce, and coordinating with senior management on proposals, plans, and metrics in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Direct customer interface.
• US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a final Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day production in MBO and lead assigned salaried and hourly represented personnel to ensure organizational goals and production milestones are accomplished safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Manage more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as assembly, disassembly, tool and die, packaging.
• Be responsible for employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Be responsible for the safe accomplishment of assembly, disassembly, processing, testing and inspection of missile bodies, missile sections, and missile components for the Trident II D5 Weapon System.
• Ensure personnel adhere to safety, security, and quality in a team environment within the organization.
• Participate in the preparation and presentation of proposals, business plans, operating budgets, and program metrics with colleagues and Sr. Management.

Lockheed Martin's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a Production Manager for our Missile Body Operations (MBO) organization at Strategic Weapons Facility, Pacific (SWFPAC), Naval Base Kitsap, Silverdale, WA.

In This Dynamic Role You Will

Basic Qualifications

• Direct customer interface.
• 5+ years of leadership experience (informal or formal).
• US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a final Secret security clearance. Interim Secret clearance required prior to start. Cannot be a dual citizen.

  Pay Information

  Full-Time Salary Range: $123400.00 - $229200.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
