Job summary

Procopio Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee on-site activities for large residential multi-family projects in Massachusetts. You will supervise crews, coordinate all trades, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires a strong background in field supervision, scheduling, and reading plans, with proficiency in MS Office, Project, and construction software. Site-based leadership and communication with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active unrestricted Massachusetts CSL.
• OSHA-10 required; OSHA-30 preferred.
• Minimum 15 years construction industry experience.
• Minimum 8 years of project supervision in residential multi-family construction (50+ units).
• Experience managing projects and budgets from $10m+.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, directs, and supervises all construction activities.
• Directs field personnel to complete project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship.
• Maintains construction schedule and resolves issues.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as needed.
• Maintains relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors and staff.
• Promotes job site safety and rectifies hazards.
• Keeps organized job site construction office and logs.
• Assists in bid packages, RFPs, RFIs, and coordination with engineers.
• Coordinate inspections with municipalities as required.

Role Overview

The Superintendent supervises crews and equipment, coordinates installation of all trades work, administers good construction safety practices on all on-site activities, and ensures that the project schedule is met. The Superintendent also maintains the job site office and proactively assists the project shareholders with project close out and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates, directs, and supervises all construction activities.
• Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
• Maintains construction schedule, identifies, and solves problems.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
• Maintains positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and other employees.
• Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices, and immediately rectifies job site hazards.
• Maintains an organized job site construction office.
• Creates and maintains job files and logs.
• Assists in the development of bid packages, RFPs and RFIs.
• Define and delegate responsibilities and set goals for subcontractors.
• Coordinate engineering and municipal inspections as required.

• Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential multi-family construction.
• Must be able to read, interpret and coordinate drawings and specifications.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, , and Project.
• Experience or competence in Procore, , and Bluebeam a plus.
• Experience with PHIUS techniques and project parameters a plus
• Experience using mobile devices for field management.
