Troutman Pepper Locke LLP in Richmond, VA is seeking a Multifamily Paralegal to support the Multifamily Housing Finance Group. The role centers on reviewing and analyzing title and survey for commercial real estate loans, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, with emphasis on ALTA/NSPS standards.

The position requires at least two years CRE title and survey experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment while tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience with commercial real estate transactions, specifically title and survey.
• Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ALTA/NSPS title and survey standards.

Responsabilités

• Conduct title and survey review and analysis for commercial real estate loans, including but not limited to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
• Maintain thorough and current knowledge of commercial real estate lending guidelines.
• Perform paralegal duties as directed by the group leader and other attorneys.
• Monitor and meet loan closing deadlines.
• Track and record client-billable time and maintain firm records.
