Job summary

Colliers Brentwood is seeking a Multifamily Financial Analyst to join our investment sales brokerage team in Los Angeles. This role focuses on underwriting multifamily assets, building sophisticated financial models in Excel, and producing valuation analyses for client proposals.

You will prepare BOVs and OMs, research market trends, and support deal execution with brokers. A strong background in CRE underwriting, rent rolls, and cash flow projections is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related field.
• 2-3 years underwriting commercial real estate required; multifamily preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial underwriting and valuation of multifamily properties.
• Analyze historical operating data, rents, budgets, and market conditions.
• Prepare financial analyses and client-facing materials (BOVs/OMs).
• Conduct market research to support valuations and business development.
• Collaborate with brokers to deliver accurate analyses for investment decisions.
• Manage multiple assignments with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Identify improvements to financial models and processes.
