Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Painter to support maintenance operations at our property. The role covers corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks, and includes assisting with the make-ready process under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

You will help maintain a safe, organized shop, comply with OSHA requirements, and respond to resident requests and work orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community maintenance duties
• Attend onsite daily
• Prepare vacant units for move-in and makeup-ready board under supervision
• Respond to resident requests and work orders promptly
• Ensure repairs and replacements in common areas and units
• Follow Asset Plus key policy
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards (OSHA)
• Assist with hazard communications program
• Participate in unit inspections as requested
• Enforce community policies and supervisor delegations
