Forest Properties Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Boston property.

The role involves performing repairs across appliances, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems to keep the property in excellent condition. You will work with a team to handle preventative, corrective, cosmetic, and emergency maintenance, including making vacant apartments ready for lease and assisting residents and vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have one year experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or painting.
• HVAC or appliance repair experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more and perform physical activities such as walking, crouching, bending, reaching small spaces, standing prolonged periods.
• Good reading, writing, and basic math skills.
• Bring your own tools and must have reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the USA and provide proof.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling system repairs as needed.
• Ensure all service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Prepare vacant apartments for lease, including cleaning when needed.
• Report building, ground, or system issues to supervisor for corrective action.
• Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, staff, and vendors.
• Work a rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Forest Properties Management, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for our property in Boston, MA. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for carrying out corrective, preventative, cosmetic, and emergency property maintenance. A qualified candidate will work with a team of technicians to assist in their daily responsibilities performing all necessary maintenance for the apartment community.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling system repairs as needed.
• Ensure all service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform work necessary to make vacant apartments ready for lease. This includes cleaning when needed.
• Report any building, ground, or system issue to supervisor for further corrective action.
• Ability to communicate and work well with residents, colleagues, administrative staff, and vendors.

Pay rate is based upon qualifications and experience.
