Job summary

Palace Construction Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager, Superintendent, and field staff on large multifamily projects. The role focuses on document control, coordination, and timely submittals to keep projects on track and within budget.

The position reports to the Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager and requires at least 1 year of project engineering experience; K-12 experience is a plus. Competitive benefits are offered, along with a referral program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as a project engineer on a large multifamily project.
• General knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and purchasing techniques.
• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for tasks assigned and hold others accountable as applicable.
• Manage contract documents, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
• Support document control and communication processes across the project team.
• Assist with project coordination meetings and ensure minutes are distributed.
• Assist with change management and turnover documentation.
