Job summary

University City Housing Company, a Philadelphia-based property management firm, seeks a skilled Painter to support renovations, make-readies and daily work orders for its local portfolio. You will work with residents and the maintenance team to perform painting and plastering, maintain records, and help ready homes for move-in.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of painting/plastering experience, can work independently or in a team, and communicates clearly in English.

Qualifications

• 2+ years painting and plastering experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with limited supervision.
• Strong communication in English, written and spoken.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable with heights and ladders; able to handle heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work on-call and non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting and plastering tasks with residents and team.
• Maintain service records and update job progress.
• Renovate homes and prepare for move-in.
• Ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Snow removal when needed; assist with preventative maintenance.
