Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Phoenix, AZ, to maintain property integrity, safety, and aesthetics. The role covers routine maintenance, responding to resident requests, and supporting day-to-day operations of multifamily buildings and amenities.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs, and inspections, while coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling.
• Must be available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests using a work order system and complete repairs per company standards and local codes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across the property to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by inspections, punch lists, scheduling contractors, and quality checks.
