Job summary

SUNRIDGE MANAGEMENT GROUP INC in El Paso, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily communities. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative services to keep residents safe and environments well-functioning.

This on-site role collaborates with the Property Manager to prepare units for new residents and ensure timely turnover. The ideal candidate has experience in apartment or facilities maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge, and HVAC

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• HVAC Certification Needed.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Availability for on-call rotation and flexible scheduling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on residential units and common areas.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, patching, and cleaning.
• Inspect HVAC systems and replace filters.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and property systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Follow all safety policies and use PPE.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents and communicate maintenance timelines.
