Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Santa Clarita to maintain property integrity, respond to resident requests, and support efficient operation. Responsibilities include routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances, plus preventive tasks and unit turnovers.

The role requires 1 year of maintenance experience, on-call availability, and a focus on safety and resident service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair).
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience desired.
• Emergency on-call availability including evenings/weekends.
• Valid driver’s license for golf cart operation (if applicable).
• Customer-service oriented with ability to interact professionally with residents.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly, using a work order system to track and complete repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repair tasks across the property to ensure efficient and safe operation.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by completing inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling contractors, repairing, and conducting quality checks.
• Maintain clean and functional amenity areas, including breezeways, pool areas, and common spaces.
• Inspect work completed by vendors or contractors to ensure compliance with quality and scope expectations.
