Job summary

TAM Residential in Hueco Valley, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair apartment communities. You will handle work orders, oversee general upkeep, and support the Lead Technician to keep the property safe and welcoming.

The role requires HVAC certification, practical maintenance skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. On-site, full-time schedule, operating under TAM Residential's safety standards, with opportunities to grow within the maintenance

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required.
• HVAC certification required.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and repair techniques.
• Ability to manage physical workload safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Estimate time, materials, and scope of repairs when needed.
• Respond to maintenance needs across multiple systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, etc.).
• Oversee and coordinate work performed by outside contractors when required.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws, including Fair Housing regulations.
