Job summary

RADCO seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure property upkeep, safety, and timely repairs across multifamily units. The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, HVAC knowledge, and a proactive, safety-conscious mindset. On-call duties may involve after-hours and weekend work, with bonus incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family.
• HVAC/EPA Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling required.
• CPO certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, roofing repairs, and other general maintenance skills.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Must be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends for on-call service requests.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Fair Housing laws, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Valid driver’s license may be required based on property size and transportation needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the property is well kept and address safety concerns promptly.
• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and perform minor repairs, including HVAC troubleshooting and pool maintenance if applicable.
• Move appliances and equipment to/from storage and apartments as needed.
• Complete all service requests within 24 hours, unless parts or labor are extraordinary.
• Respond to on-call emergencies with timely arrival; on-call bonuses apply.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, vendors, and coworkers.
• Demonstrate RADCO’s Caring value in every interaction.
• Team approach: perform tasks that support company objectives.
