Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is expanding its Dallas–Fort Worth maintenance team and seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician with a background in multifamily property management. You will handle routine and preventative maintenance, diagnose building systems, and perform make-readies to prepare units for new residents.

Qualifications

• Previous multifamily property management maintenance experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems knowledge.
• Experience completing apartment make-readies and unit turnovers.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues independently.
• HVAC certification (EPA 608) strongly preferred.
• Ability to use computerized maintenance systems and complete electronic work orders.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to participate in an emergency on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the apartment community.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other building systems.
• Complete resident service requests accurately and within established deadlines.
• Perform make-ready maintenance and apartment turnovers to ensure units are prepared for new residents.
• Inspect and maintain common areas, building exteriors, and community amenities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours and on-call assignments.
• Assist with property inspections and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with the Community Manager, maintenance leadership, and residents.
