Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Durham, NC to help maintain the property’s physical integrity and appearance. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to resident service requests, and support safe, efficient operations across buildings, amenities, and common areas.

Qualifications include at least 1 year in general maintenance, HVAC certification preferred, and willingness to be on-call evenings/weekends. A valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience highly desired.
• Must be available for emergency on-call including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license for golf-cart operation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and track repairs with work orders.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, inspect, punch lists, schedule contractors, perform repairs.
