Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician responsible for preparing apartments for make-ready turns and handling general maintenance tasks. You will respond to service requests, perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, and manage after-hour emergencies as part of a dedicated property management team.

Requirements include two years of on-site maintenance experience in multi-family properties, a basic tool set, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Two years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepping apartments for make-ready turns and performing general maintenance.
• Responding to service requests and completing work orders.
• On-call for after-hour emergency calls.
• Snow removal and grounds maintenance of common areas.
• Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Light plumbing, carpentry and electrical tasks as part of make-ready turns.
