Job summary

Northwood Ravin is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Carraway Village in Chapel Hill, NC. This on-site role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance maintenance to ensure safe, functional living spaces for residents.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience, strong safety awareness, and good customer service. Weekend availability and on-call rotation are required, with opportunities for growth within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• Experience in residential repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Safety protocols and building codes knowledge to minimize liability.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Respond to and resolve resident service requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to keep systems functioning optimally.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide effective solutions.
• Assist in apartment turnover by repairs, touch-ups, and inspections.
