Harbor Group Management's Maintenance Technician role at our multifamily properties requires hands-on trade skills to keep buildings, grounds and amenities clean, safe and functional. The technician performs routine maintenance, handles resident requests, and supports efficient property operations, including on-call duties and adherence to OSHA safety policies.

Qualifications

• One-year prior experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience highly desired.
• Must be available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license for golf cart operation if applicable.
• Customer-service oriented with the ability to interact professionally with residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly using a work order system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including inspections and punch lists.
• Maintain amenity areas through cleaning, trash removal, and light painting.
• Inspect vendor work for quality and adherence to scope.
