Job description

Join to apply for the Multifamily Maintenance Technician role at Cresten Capital Holdings.

Cresten Property Management is seeking a well-organized self-starter capable of performing accurate and efficient work. This position involves managing day-to-day maintenance tasks for a multi-family complex.

The ideal candidate will have the knowledge to:

1. Use common hand and power tools (provided by the company or employee).
2. Inspect, test, diagnose, estimate costs, and repair building systems and equipment.
3. Perform basic carpentry repairs and replacements (doors, windows, drywall, flooring, woodwork).
4. Handle light electrical repairs (appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits).
5. Replace broken glass, tile, carpet, screens, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks.
6. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and building systems operate efficiently.
7. Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and coordinate with the property manager for parts and equipment.
8. Estimate repair costs.
9. Occasionally perform custodial duties in common areas.
10. Pick up trash and perform seasonal work such as snow removal and yard care.
11. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inspections, and inventories.
12. Inspect units and common areas, performing repairs and janitorial tasks as needed.
13. Have knowledge of water and gas meter cutoffs and sewer cleanouts, including posting maps.
14. Ensure storage areas and entrances are secure and well-lit.
15. Maintain pool safety and chemical handling (Pool Certification is a plus but not required).
16. Assist other properties as needed.
