Job summary

American Property Management is seeking a Maintenance position in Texas to support multifamily communities. The role requires 1+ year(s) in maintenance with emphasis on unit turnover and resident service, plus reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance within the last 10 years.
• 2+ years’ experience preferred.
• Trades experience considered.
• Unit turnover knowledge from start to finish.
• Experience tracking and maintaining inventory.
• Provide your own basic hand tools; power tools supplied by company.
• Experience delivering great customer service to residents/customers.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Fluent in English with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate quality of work with discretion and sound independent judgment.
• Assist in getting units rent-ready.
• Adhere to safety requirements.
• Safely use chemicals and equipment in daily duties.
• Maintain grounds, work and storage areas and dumpsters to uphold curb appeal.
• Paint and clean as needed to ensure timely unit turnover.
• Ensure lawns, entryways, walkways and driveways are clean and debris-free.
• Ensure equipment is serviced regularly for safe operations.
• Be available for on‑call emergencies or snow removal.
• Enforce company policies as per Operations Manual.
• Clean units as needed; not all-inclusive.
