Job summary

Meritus Property Group in Portland, Oregon is seeking a hands-on Multifamily Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance across multiple communities. You will lead a small team, coordinate repairs, and drive safety, quality, and tenant satisfaction through proactive maintenance and capital projects.

The role requires experience in apartment maintenance, leadership, and familiarity with Yardi or similar systems. On-call rotation and after-hours work are part of the schedule.

• Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities.

• Maintain records of work orders and maintenance activity (Yardi experience preferred).
• Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and vendors.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Supervisor to support multiple apartment communities and ensure our properties are safe, well-maintained, and operating at a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance day-to-day maintenance needs with larger projects. You'll lead a small team, support property operations, and help create a positive living experience for our residents.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Experience in apartment maintenance, ideally across multiple properties

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
