Job summary

Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking dependable Maintenance Technicians to join our team supporting multifamily communities in the St. Louis area.

You will perform general repairs, respond to resident service requests, and help with make-ready and turnovers for new residents. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, with strong customer service and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, painting.
• HVAC/EPA certification is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• On-call availability for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform general maintenance repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building systems.
• Assist with apartment make-ready and turnover preparation for new residents.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout the community.
• Maintain common areas, building exteriors, grounds, mechanical areas, and maintenance facilities.
• Conduct inspections and identify potential maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and maintenance inventory.
• Respond professionally and courteously to resident maintenance concerns.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies as required.
• Follow company safety procedures, policies, and applicable housing requirements.
• Assist the Community Manager and maintenance team with property-related projects as needed.
