Job summary
Northmarq is hiring for an Investment Sales Analyst to join our multifamily brokerage team in Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC. The Analyst will lead underwriting, financial analysis, and marketing of exclusive assignments, working closely with top Producers.
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of CRE financial analysis experience, a Bachelor’s, and strong Excel/ARGUS skills. This in-office role offers growth and exposure to institutional clients.
Qualifications
- Strong CRE financial analysis and underwriting experience.
- Proficiency in Excel with cash flow modeling.
- Ability to translate complex analyses into client-ready narratives.
Responsibilities
- Lead underwriting and valuation of multifamily assets using Excel and cash flow modeling.
- Analyze property-level financials, budgets, leases, and loan documents for underwriting.
- Identify value drivers and risks, providing actionable insights to brokers and clients.
- Prepare value opinions, memoranda, and disposition proposals with deal teams.
- Conduct market research on comps, trends, and performance to support pricing.
- Collaborate with Producers and Capital Markets to develop deal strategies and materials.
- Communicate with property managers and stakeholders to validate information throughout the transaction.
- Translate analyses into clear narratives and deliver presentations to clients.
- Present recommendations in client settings to inform pricing and negotiations.
