Job summary

Kushner is seeking a Design Project Manager to support the Director of Project Design in planning, coordinating and executing interior design projects across its multifamily developments, keeping budgets, schedules and design standards on track.

The role coordinates external interior design firms, architects, consultants, vendors and contractors through programming, procurement, installation and closeout, while staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in interior design, architecture, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in design project management, interior design, architecture or hospitality.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Project Design in managing multifamily development and renovation projects through design, procurement, construction and installation.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of interior designers, architects, consultants, procurement partners, manufacturers and vendors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Review design documents and ensure consistency with approved direction and objectives; assist with FF&E budgets and procurement tracking.
