Job summary

Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, seeks a Structural Engineer or EIT to join our Houston, TX team. You will lead in the design of multifamily and residential foundations and coordinate with project teams on constructability, changes, and on-site issues.

Requirements include a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 2-5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of ACI/IBC, FE/PE eligibility, and proficiency with GTK PTISlab, Enercal, RISA, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• 2-5 years' experience preferred.
• Multifamily foundation design and construction knowledge is required.
• Knowledgeable in ACI and IBC requirements.
• Must be eligible to take FE/PE exams.
• Must have strong verbal and written communications; consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the design of multifamily foundations & residential single-family home foundations.
• Function as liaison on constructability issues, design changes, and construction problems.
• Prepare repair procedures for damaged concrete/post-tensioning as needed.
• Oversee inspections of foundations and prepare inspection reports.
