Job summary

Navigate Search seeks a Multifamily Construction Estimator with hands-on knowledge of multifamily projects to assess properties, develop scopes of work, and generate precise estimates for repairs and renovations. You’ll bid projects, collaborate with managers, clients, and adjusters, and travel to sites as needed.

Ideal candidates have experience in construction estimating, proficiency with Xactimate, reading drawings, and strong communication skills to support negotiations and project success

Qualifications

• Hands-on estimating experience in construction.
• Experience with multifamily projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Experience performing material and labor takeoffs.
• Familiarity with operating estimating tools like Xactimate.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties to identify deficiencies and repair needs.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and cost estimates for multifamily projects.
• Prepare estimates using Xactimate and other tools.
• Coordinate with clients, managers, and adjusters through bidding and execution.
• Travel to project sites as required and communicate across teams.
