Job summary

CSI Construction Company seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day on-site coordination of commercial projects in Scottsdale, AZ. You will lead field crews, manage subcontractors, and ensure work meets plans, budget, and schedule while enforcing safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple trades.

Qualifications

3–8+ years of construction field supervision experience.
Strong knowledge of Framing, exteriors and MEPs highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and jobsite coordination.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
Proficiency with construction management software and field reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Manage daily jobsite activities and field personnel under the direction of the Lead Superintendent.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews.
Ensure construction work complies with project plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
Assist with development and maintenance of project schedules.
Monitor work progress and proactively address delays or conflicts.
Conduct daily jobsite meetings and subcontractor coordination.
Ensure proper sequencing of trades to maintain project schedule.
Coordinate deliveries, staging, and site logistics.
Maintain clean and organized jobsite conditions.
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Conduct regular safety meetings and jobsite inspections.
Identify and mitigate safety risks immediately.
Ensure all subcontractors comply with site safety requirements.
Monitor workmanship to ensure adherence to project specifications.
Coordinate inspections and testing requirements.
Identify deficiencies and ensure timely correction.
Maintain daily logs and field reports.
Track manpower, equipment, and material deliveries.
Document issues, delays, RFIs, and field changes.
Communicate project updates to the Lead Superintendent and Project Manager.
Support the Lead Superintendent in overall project execution.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and design teams.
Foster a collaborative and professional jobsite environment.
