Job summary

Cope Equities LLC in Allen, TX is seeking a Multifamily Construction Project Engineer to support complex multifamily projects from concept to completion. You will coordinate between office and field teams, manage schedules, documentation, subcontractor scopes, and quality expectations across multiple buildings.

The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam, and the ability to work with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and design

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficient with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong ability to read construction drawings and understand multifamily sequencing.
• Excellent communication with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review and process pay applications and maintain project logs (RFIs, submittals, ASIs, PCOs).
• Track drawings updates and coordinate distribution to subcontractors.
• Manage subcontractor pay apps and verify contract amounts vs. payments.
• Support scheduling, procurement, cost control, and reporting for multiple buildings.
• Assist with daily coordination and site walks to document progress.
