Job summary

The Manhattan Apartments, a LUMA Residential community in Dallas-Far North, seeks an experienced Assistant Property Manager. You will manage collections, accounting, and resident relations while supporting leasing and daily operations.

The role requires leadership when the Property Manager is away and proficiency with Yardi and modern leasing tech. A strong service mindset and attention to Fair Housing are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in multifamily housing required.
• Strong accounting, collections, and resident ledger experience.
• Proficiency with Fair Housing guidelines and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of collections and maintain delinquency below 2%.
• Process rent payments, deposits, and month-end reporting.
• Build positive resident relationships and resolve concerns.
• Assist leasing activities, renewals, and occupancy goals.
• Support daily operations and enforce company policies.
• Lead on-site team in absence of the Property Manager.
• Utilize property management software and AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Maintain organized resident files and documentation.
