Qualifications
- AA degree or equivalent with specialized training in transportation management.
- Minimum 5 years in transportation operations with 2 years supervisory responsibility.
- Experience operating a student transportation system is desirable.
- Good knowledge of state and federal transportation laws and regulations.
- Strong skills in dispatching, routing, and use of transportation software.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for the Chimacum-Port Townsend Transportation Cooperative.
- Oversee fleet management, routing, dispatch, staffing, and field trips.
- Supervise transportation staff and coordinate with district leadership.
- Develop driver training, safety programs, and performance evaluations.
- Manage budget development, revenues, expenditures, and reporting.
