Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an ICU position. The role provides direct patient care in a multidisciplinary ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care within established nursing standards.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license and ICU experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Current RN license; Nursing Diploma/ADN/BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ ICU experience; able to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork to coordinate patient care.

Job description

Role:

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers to involvement.
• Maintain awareness of safety protocols and work in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current RN license with a Nursing Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required, with ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle complex patient needs and communicate effectively within a team.
