Job summary

SAF-HOLLAND, Inc. seeks a design engineer to work on multiple projects, designing and developing new products or redesigning existing components from requirements. You will perform detailed engineering calculations using advanced tools and apply system engineering to mech and electrical subsystems.

Support for assembly and prototype testing is required. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering and 3+ years in design/development, with 1–3 years in FEA/CAE (ANSYS/CREO preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or foreign equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in design/development for products engineering; 1-3 years in FEA/CAE.
• Industry experience in commercial vehicles or automotive preferred.
• Must apply advanced mathematics to design problems including calculus and statistics.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to create complex 3D solid models and 2D geometry.
• Advanced MS Office skills and strong communication/presentation abilities.

• Conduct detailed engineering calculations using advanced software tools.
